Man am I feeling the effects of last night. We headed into Manchester to catch Giddy Motors at the Star and Garter, and to have a ‘few’ pints.

The gig was great - we caught the last few songs by the support band (don’t remember their name though), whose vocalist had some kind of Michael Jackson thing going on with a weird hat and just one glove. Whatever, they were pretty good and seemed stoked that a few people had come out to see them.

Giddy Motors played to a crowd of about 30 so it was a really low key gig, but they put on a really good show regardless and played a bunch of tracks off their new album and a few I didn’t recognise. I took a few pictures which became progressively worse as the evil effects of alcohol took their hold on me but some of them turned out OK.

Afterwards I had a quick chat to the singer from the band but as I was utterly pissed by then I don’t remember what we actually talked about. I think I mentioned that I’d first heard about his band from a friend of mine in Italy, and he seemed pretty stoked on that. Oh and he said something about touring the US in July.

The rest of the night is an total blur - I don’t remember going home, but I do remember spending hours in the bathroom trying really, really hard not to be sick and wishing that the toilet would stay still. I haven’t been that drunk in a loooong time, and I don’t know how it happened as I can’t recall consuming that much beer. Ah well.

So yeah, I’m feeling super rough today too. Just as well I’m not on jury service, eh?
