I had my final meeting today with the company I’ve been working for for the past six months. No more of that soul-destroying piece of work. I’m never going to touch any kind of full-time web development project ever again, *especially* if it means maintaining someone else’s code. I mean it this time.

The meeting itself was fairly depressing as I know that this project is basically in the shit, and some people are going to be very pissed off at the outcome. This isn’t entirely my fault though, and of course isn’t my problem any more. Bums me out all the same mind.

Ahhh, and now it’s the weekend. Fuck all planned really, apart from maybe a barbecue at mine tomorrow if the weather holds out. This is just as well as I could do with saving my pennies considing the hectic few weeks I have lined up ahead.

I was going to go to Nottingham tonight to see a friend but this weather has totally drained any enthusiasm and energy that I had for doing anything. Knocking back a couple of bottles of ale is about all I feel like at the minute.

I don’t watch TV too often, but I think if I had this channel available to me that’d change.

“Meow TV,” developed by the Meow Mix Co., debuts Friday at 6:30 p.m. on the Oxygen Network. It’s the first show targeted at cats. Not cat lovers. Cats.

How cool?

No, not the soap from down-under (as some of you will be disappointed to hear) but our next door neighbours. They’re fucking nuts.

So anyway, I come home from Sheffield after riding street all day and park my car round the back of the house. I’ve had to block next door’s car in in order to do so but as I was planning to go back out again once I’d showered and stuff I didn’t think it would be a big deal. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
