No, not the soap from down-under (as some of you will be disappointed to hear) but our next door neighbours. They’re fucking nuts.

So anyway, I come home from Sheffield after riding street all day and park my car round the back of the house. I’ve had to block next door’s car in in order to do so but as I was planning to go back out again once I’d showered and stuff I didn’t think it would be a big deal. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Next thing I know as I’m in the shower there’s a huge bang downstairs and some shouting. I jump out of the shower, get dressed and run to see what is going on. I’m confronted by my neighbour who’s basically going crazy at the fact that I’ve parked the car there, and threatening to smash the car up unless it’s moved in two minutes. My dad is telling him to chill, but instead he comes towards me shouting “do you want some?”.

We have a bit of a scuffle, my dad tries to break us up and my neighbour turns round and hits him in the face. So I punch my neighbour. He shouts and screams some more, walks off to the back of the garden, rips the gate off and then throws it as us. At this point I’m worried about my dad more than anything so we go back inside and call the police.

An hour or so later the police cart him off to the station to be cautioned for criminal damage and assault. It doesn’t end there though, as about another hour after this happened someone decided it’d be a good idea to smash the rear windscreen of our car. It wasn’t him next door as he was still at the station at the time, but I’ve a fairly good idea who it was.

Good fun eh? Apart from all that I had an ace weekend. Shame it had to end like that :/
