Raaaah

without comments

Oops, been neglecting this a bit recently. Not to worry - I haven’t been up to much, apart from a hillclimb event at Loton Park a couple of weeks back, and then the Backyard Jam in Coventry.

As for what’s coming up, well I’m still trying to organise some kind of big BBQ effort at my place, complete with live music. More on that soonish, hopefully (:

I’ve also made some definite plans for my return to the US. I’m going to fly out sometime around the 17th/18th of October (as soon as I can after those dates basically), as I’ll have saved up enough money to go whether I manage to get my previous employers to cough up or not. Yeah, so I’ve missed pretty much all of summer but hey, it’s Southern California so it’s always summer :P

But really I’m just sick of my life being ‘on hold’, and I need to do something about it, hence the decision. Ever since I came home to the UK last year all I’ve really wanted to do was get back to San Diego, so it’s about time I stopped talking about it again and actually did it.

While I’m here, can I just say that Hoover’s final (Self Titled) EP (a.k.a unfinished business) contains five of the most perfect songs ever recorded?

What are Etnies up to?

“…very unusual and rarely-seen fabrics combined in unique ways–all heavily influenced by the worlds of art, design, music and fashion.”

Hmmm. Don’t go and do an Airwalk on us, Etnies.
