I’m sitting here washing back the taste of my sub from EZ-J’s with a bottle of Corona and figured I’d better update this thing and let you know what’s been going on here over the past few days :)

Halloween was fun - have to love an occassion where the guys dress up wearing the dumbest looking outfits possible and the majority of girls strive to wear the sexiest, most outrageous clothes they can :) I went to about three parties in total, and ended up at the same apartment complex I was at on Halloween last year which was kinda weird as it almost felt like the last year hadn’t happened. I’m sure alcohol helped with that illusion though….

Saturday was basically more of the same, only a little more chill and less of the costumes. We headed to a friend of Taylor’s house and helped drain their keg and then went out to a few bars on Garnet. Good times all round, and it was fun bumping into people I hadn’t seen for a year.

Sunday we rode a couple of spots in Chula Vista, and actually managed to get a bit of a mission going with around 8 or 10 riders all heading out to these places together. We met at some DBI rider’s house, sessioned their backyard mini-ramp and then went to some ditches in Chula Vista which were fun to ride and definitely not something you’d come across on UK soil that’s for sure. After that we went to some trails that were nearby, and finished the day off at someone elses backyard and some shady ramp setup that was fun but hard to get used to. Wood ramps on dirt are definitely sketchy.

I’ve had today to myself so I rode down to the beach and just hung out there taking a few photos and watching the waves. Weather here is really nice at the minute, blue skies and sunshine but not actually all that hot. Tomorrow is Taylor’s birthday though so no doubt I’ll have some more interesting photos and tales to tell soon enough :)
