I am currently looking for a Naval Manager (Ship Construction) to work for a Leading Defence Company based on the South Coast. Leading Defence Company looking for a Naval Engineer/Manager to be Head of the Ship Constructive Section. You will be required to manage and develop a wide variety of Constructive Engineering activities with particular emphasis on the structural aspects of Surface Warships and Auxiliaries. You will be accountable to the Platform System Manager, delivering guidance information on text & drawings, Safety reports and Ship Survey reports.
Desirable Skills include:
-Time spent as Shipwright / Mechanical engineer in Royal Navy or Shipbuilding
environment
-Structural ship surveying to identify defects or design shortcomings
-Ability to motivate and lead a team of experienced and dedicated Engineers
-Customer Focused, understanding/meeting changing needs and expectations/building working relationships
-Demonstrate ability to innovate and problem solve.
-Project Manage, keeping projects to time and budget restraints.
