This is the find of the week for me, check it out:
REminiscence is a rewrite of the engine used in the game Flashback from Delphine Software. This program is designed as a cross-platform replacement for the original executable and uses the SDL library.
It’s actively maintained and there’s a Win32 binary ready for download. You can grab the original DOS version from from over at Abandonia, and the Amiga .mod files from here. Unpack the DOS version and the Amiga .mods into a DATA folder under the REminiscence directory and you’re good to go.
Brilliant.
hello, thanks for the link to the mod files,I couldn’t find them by myself.
hey,did you know that speech is supported?,you have to get a file from the sega cd version and put it in the data folder (just like the mods for the music). the file is VOICE.VCE
from the sega cd american version. now I’m looking for it to complete the “pack”!.
ps: too bad the shift key doesn’t work for me,(maybe changing the SDL dll would fix it?).

hello again, sorry for the double post, but
yep, changing the SDL.dll file to the latest version (found in the sdl official site),fixed the shift problem,so if anybody out there has the same or similar problems, getting another version of the sdl file should fix it.
