dischord.org (the domain) is something of an obvious homage to Dischord Records, an independant label based in Washington, D.C. I’m a big follower of more or less everything on and about that label, so the domain suits me nicely.

It’s hosted at Jump, and is served up using Debian GNU/Linux, lighttpd, PHP, and MySQL and all tied together using Wordpress. Good times!

I wrote to you about 3.5 years ago asking about your trips to Cali.

I ended up going for 2 months to Hollywood in summer of 05. Had a great time. Basically just lived there and did normal-ish thing. We rented a house in the Hollywood Hills just because it worked out the same price as a hotel.

Just curious if you’re living there or have plans to move there? I make 1/3 of my living from music now and I’m trying to get my foot in the door more but it’s who you know. It’s my best chance at getting a visa in a few years though.

Anyway, let me know if you’re uploading pics to Flickr or something, would love to see them.
